
“Quetta Blast: 2 FC Personnel, 8 Civilians Martyred in Suicide Attack Near Pishin Stop”
Dubai | October 1, 2025 | 2 | newsAt least 16 people lost their lives, including two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and eight civilians, in a powerful suicide bombing and gun battle near Pishin Stop, Quetta on Tuesday.
According to Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Kakar, more than 30 others, including women and children, were injured. Six victims are said to be in critical condition and are receiving treatment at Civil Hospital Quetta.

Officials confirmed that terrorists arrived in two vehicles.

One vehicle was detonated in a suicide explosion near a security barrier.

The second vehicle tried to enter the Frontier Corps headquarters, but was stopped by FC personnel at the checkpoint, leading to a fierce exchange of fire.
During the gunfight, two FC personnel were martyred while four terrorists were killed on the spot. Security forces quickly cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
The blast was so intense that it shattered glass windows and damaged nearby buildings. Authorities also recovered dry food and supplies from the slain terrorists, indicating they had prepared for a prolonged standoff.
National Leaders Strongly Condemn Quetta Attack
President Asif Ali Zardari
President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the terrorist attack, blaming it on India-backed elements and Fitna al-Khawarij. He praised the swift response of security forces and assured the nation that such attempts to destabilize Pakistan would fail.
“Pakistan, its people, and its armed forces will continue to defeat the nefarious designs of anti-Pakistan elements. Their desperation shows their ultimate failure,” Zardari said.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the bravery of the security forces. He prayed for the recovery of the injured and stressed that those behind the attack will face exemplary punishment.
“The enemies of Pakistan who target innocent lives will be crushed. The nation stands united with our forces to eliminate terrorism once and for all,” he said.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti
Balochistan CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti hailed the FC’s quick response and confirmed that four terrorists were “sent to hell” during the operation.
“Such cowardly acts cannot weaken the spirit of our people or our institutions. The sacrifices of our martyrs will never go in vain,” Bugti stated, reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensuring peace and security in Balochistan.
