In the latest escalation of violence, medical sources report that Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of over 40 individuals across Gaza. The majority of these casualties occurred in the northern region of the territory, where an intense siege has now entered its 18th day.

Recent statistics from Gaza’s Health Ministry indicate that 115 Palestinians lost their lives and 487 were injured in just the last 48 hours. Since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, 2023, at least 42,718 Palestinians have been killed and over 100,282 wounded due to Israeli attacks. On the day of the initial Hamas-led assaults, an estimated 1,139 individuals were killed in Israel, with more than 200 taken hostage.
